Outwitted by a Four Year Old

Part One

The boys are very interested in growing big and strong like Daddy. We use this to our advantage by telling them napping, exercise, and eating veggies is what helps you grow big and strong. So far it's working great! The other day I was encouraging Alexander to eat peaches. He's not a big fan. He asked if I ate peaches when I was a little girl. I told him I love peaches and ate them all the time. To which he asked, "Then how come you didn't grow big like Daddy...just medium?"

Part Two

Alexander loves fruit roll-ups. It's his favorite snack. After having one mid-morning he asked to have another after nap. Thinking a sheet of sugary "fruit" paste was not a good habit twice a day, I suggested something healthier. He kept insisting on the roll-up and said it would make him big and strong. I told him not really, and it could actually make your teeth fall out (extreme I know, but I needed to win this argument.) He then asked "Well then why do you keep buying them for me?"

I'm planning on taking a logic class at the local college to learn some skills so I can keep up with my 4 year old.
